Blade: 5 3/8" Hand forged 1075 carbon steel.It was coated in clay and quenched,then tempered twice.It has been sanded to 600 grit and acid etched to show a temper line.The temper line is subtle but wavy.
The top edge is not sharpened.
Handle: Stacked layers of African Blackwood,nickel silver,leather and polished moose antler.The Blackwood guard and pommel has been carved and textured,then sanded to 400 grit.The end of the pommel has an insert of moose antler. The moose antler has been carved and highly polished.The carving is the same on each side.It has also been engraved with stars and a moon,and filled with a mixture of blackwood powder and resin.
Overall length: 10 1/8"
Sheath: Tooled 10 oz. leather in a scandinavian style.The knife snaps in and out of its sheath very nicely.
